After having a long career as an entrepreneur in home improvement industry and having a GIA Diamonds Essentials Course Certificate, I decided to shift to my retail product base to luxury product sales in a cruise tourism dominated industry in Sint Maarten by offering my administrative and operations background to a offshore company having a retail outlet at Cruise Port of Sint Maarten. This port is visited by all major cruise brands of the world like RCL, Carnival, MSC, Celebrity, Holland America to name a few bringing 25000 passengers or above on daily basis from USA, Europe, UK and other countries.

During my year stint in this company I have major sales exposure to high ticket Jewelry lines like Jewellery in natural Colored Diamonds, Precious- Semi Precious stones, 14 k Gold lines along with high end swiss watch brands like Movado and Jacob & Co.

Besides Sales my responsibilities include opening & closing of the store operations along with cash register accounting, banking, tax matters, compiling sales reports and detailed end of the month comprehensive reports to the head quarters in Jamaica.

• In development of own retail operations , I have been exposed to achieving sales targets and marketing aspect of business more closely.
• Inventory control while maintaining data on POS programme at the same time keeping daily cash register aligned with accounting practices for monthly sales reporting.
• I always lead and motivated by engaging with my sales team, helping keep a strong client connect in for my industry which is dependent on repeat clientele.

• Caribe Home Center a departmental home store with product range of Building Materials, Household Supplies, Home Decor, Furniture and Home Appliances. Core retail experience came from working in this department store as Floor manager for 11 years
• Managed store organization, maintenance and purchasing functions
